My floristry story so far

As far back as I can remember I have always had a passion for flowers, from making hanging baskets with my Mum when I was little (often wearing an equally flowery dress courtesy of my Nana!) to my first floristry course at the age of 15.

I started my professional career as a Saturday girl in our nearby florist shop and was hooked! After studying art and textile design at school I moved onto a RHS Diploma in Floristry at Bath College. Finishing with top marks and my first wedding completed, just days later I began my first full-time job working for Edith Wilmot, Bristol's oldest florist shop.

After honing my skills there I decided to focus on large events and moved on to work as the wedding florist for Passion, one of the UK's leading designer florists, creating arrangements for celebrity clients, opulent country houses and acclaimed boutique hotels. Here I developed my own distinctive style and decided it was time to start my own business, and so Foxglove Flowers was born!

I specialise in wedding flowers, creating arrangements inspired by a true-to-nature style, using seasonal and locally sourced flowers wherever I can. I spend a lot of time in my own cut flower garden, dreaming up designs, alongside completing a RHS national certificate in Horticulture.

I pour all this experience and knowledge into the most important and rewarding part of my job - helping my clients to create their perfect wedding day.
